when I was a kid in France in the early 80s (I would time it just after TESB), this Holyday special had seeped somehow in our environment, on our continent, filling our minds with tidbits, lies, false perception, false hopes. With maybe 4 or 5 distorded glimpes of stories, typical "I heard this guy say", it was a true marvelous and magic kid moment.

Notwithstanding its quality, I wish I haven't seen it : a kid's dream is gone :)
