I've been using Windows 8 for a couple of weeks and honestly, It hasn't really changed how I use my PC at all. I have no reason to upgrade, at least at my expense. I never use the start menu in any version of windows, I just use Launchy. With Windows 8 I don't have to bother, I hit the start key type what I want, and it loads. I run in the desktop environment 99 percent of the time, and occasionally leave the metro weather app opened on a small portion of a screen. The biggest problem with metro is, I just don't need it, and never will.
