i'm not trying to change anyone's views, just presenting some things that don't get talked about very much- especially since the institution has a pretty tight hold on our eating habits

it is for their sake- their health and the sustainability of our environment
and for the sake of decreasing suffering- is that SO wrong?

Yes, I believe this is gross also. Yet millions of Americans , who might also find this offensive, support factory farmed dairy by drinking cow's milk daily, or eating cheese or yoghurt. This not only displays lack of compassion, it comprimises their health and well-being. I often propose to non-vegan's that they might try drinking from the teat of their cat or dog, to see what reaction they have. How is this different from drinking from genetically manipulated cows who have NO quality of life and make way for the brutal veal industry?
