I wish I could talk to those "voices"; I'd have all kinds of questions for them. If they were deceased doctors, could I have their names (so I could verify their existence)? And why did they choose this particular woman to help? Was she destined to do something special with her life? Had they known her when they were alive? Why don't other dead doctors go around helping people with mysterious illnesses that might kill them if they're not treated?

And if the voices were just a product of her condition, so what? She got the help she needed. Even if that's not "supernatural", it's still kind of miraculous. Wouldn't you rather know something's wrong in your head -- no matter how the information came to you-- and live, than not find out about it and die?

Interesting... But it doesn't really explain what's going on in the minds of people who, say, sell a hand-knitted hat for $5 (even if you're only charging minimum wage for labour, you're not even covering the cost of materials). Do items that are created just to be sold not follow this pattern?

Why is it sad that he has so much free time? Is free time to pursue hobbies a bad thing? Anyone who says it's sad is probably jealous.

Apparently, he's a career and employment counselor.

I'm trying to figure out how he got rid of the words at the top, leaving only the letter "i".

I don't like the idea of defacing books, but if they're old and are already missing pages, they're not good for much else. And what would this piece be without the book page? A drawing of an umbrella and a cityscape. That's been done already, I'm sure.

I think it sounds like a decent idea. Of course, you would have to be careful with how graphic you made the lessons. Just knowing that that child didn't make it out of the camp would be more than enough for some.

Maybe children would have a little more empathy if they learned something like this instead of dry dates and facts that don't really mean anything to them. And maybe they wouldn't grow up to want to kill each other. We can always hope.

"You're so fat. I hate you."
"You're so skinny. I hate you."

Which is worse? The one based on disgust or the one based on jealousy?

We still haven't given up our need to judge others. We're seeing more "weight-ism" now because there are more overweight people. But if it wasn't weight, it would be something else.

I had a hard time figuring out whether it was real or not. But then, I'd heard of Jones Soda's turkey-flavoured drink (which is actually real). It's kind of hard to dismiss "Meatwater" so easily when you know about that.

Then again, it was April 1st. I didn't trust anything I saw online yesterday!
