Probably was trying to crawl out. When archaeologists first excavated Pompeii they kept finding holes filled with bones. Someone thought to try filling the hole with plaster and discovered that the volcanic ash had frozen the position of people as they died. There was an exhibit of these casts that toured various museums. The saddest I remember was a mother trying to cover her baby.

This sort of thing really bothers me. I had two pure-bred Abyssinians at one time. They were great cats, but were to inbred and had lots of medical problems. I realize this was more a problem with the breeder than the breed.

The article talks about the breeder crossing cats with Bengal cats trying to isolate the traits she's looking for. It doesn't mention anything about what she does with the cats that don't meet her criteria nor the kittens born with genetic problems.

They use that system at the end of the James Bond movie Thunderball? They must of cut the scene where Sean Connery is all discombobulated.

Some older orange-red Fiestaware was made with glaze containing uranium. I believe it's even more radioactive than the glass.
