You just brought back a long forgotten happy memory. I loved black walnut ice cream. Wondering if that "earthy" flavor came from the use of black walnut extract in addition to the black walnuts. I dunno but I just snooped around Amazon and those ingredients are of course available so I'm gonna put this on my recipe to do list.

I don't know about residential stoves but all microwaves need to be vented. Interior/exterior depends on the microwave. In the picture above, the countertop "vents" interior. If the travesty enclosed in that top space does not vent through the back wall, that's an accident waiting to happen if it's ever used. Same with one of the pictures where one was mounted in a cabinet island. Yikes. Microwaves are pretty "safe" when they fail, but you'll never forget your first experience if it's a magnetron failure. . . . BOOM!

My +/-600 album collection (vinyl to the younglings) and JVC turntable hoot in your general direction. Earlier this year I bought a 6 disc CD changer to replace the 5 disc player from the 80s that finally failed. And very recently I replaced an equally old failed DVD player with a new one. Each was under $100. I'm thinking if they last half as long as the old ones they'll outlive me, after which the collection(s) are someone else's problem. When they stop making DVDs/CDs is when they'll stop making the players. For a time I guess. Also: My equally old RCA VHS player still works and you should ditch the Mac and get a Dell.
And I digress:
I just read somewhere that for whatever reason, tape cassettes are making a comeback. A whole new generation of smurfs and smurfettes are having to learn a new use for the common pencil (you're not an expert until you can visually fast forward to the song you want to hear). Anyway, one of my favorite Neato T-shirts has a black caped cassette holding a red-tipped bic pen and saying to an I-pod "I am your father!". Amazing the number of people who don't get it. Woot!

I'm still building a DVD collection (physical media can't be disappeared from online sources).
Good for you. Me too. Disappointing, but not surprising to see all the "content" slowly disappearing from the streaming sites. And who in their right mind would actually pay Amazon Prime to "buy" a movie they will eventually lose access to? I'm always picking up the odd fondly remembered classic to add to my collection. Recent stuff not too much but two notable exceptions: First trip to the theater in a couple of years to see Twisters (I was kinda of dragged). Formulaic but surprisingly good really fun movie. Godzilla Minus 1 - best Godzilla movie ever and patiently waiting for its September release.

Liquid Ass: #2 in Gags and Practical Joke Toys: Top critical review: "Doesn’t smell like a fart. It smells like roadkill, but it still did the job". I could spend all day reading the reviews which are mostly a summary of pranks played.

Nice try but nope. There are no "rich thematics" in this movie and it really is terrible, which, as noted in the article is why it's so good. I really like it. If you ever get a chance, SF Sketchfest did a table read of Plan 9 a few years back featuring Bobcat Goldthwait, and Laraine Newman among others. It was featured on TCM so perhaps it will show up again.
