Any time there is a chance to save a life, the effort should be made. Firefighters don't give up just because teh quality of life is an unknown for the burn victim, and we shouldn't pass judgement on this little girl. she may for all we know develop normally and live a long and full life. odder things have happened. Having lost a child and spent 6 years hoping for a family, I find it disturbing that those who generally choose to argue, or to lash out adn pass judgement, are generally those that know almost nothing of what they are speaking.

I felt i had to leave a comment, though the level of narrow-mindedness and lack of concience will more than likely deem this a page not worth revisiting. I find it disturbing that in general rather than simply expressing ones thoughts, one has to immediately turn this into a liberal Vs. conservative battle. I hope the best for kimberly, and i'm one of those "Crazy Russ Feingold liberals" One thing you learn in basic psychology is that people who lash out, or Over-represent their oppinions, are often the ones who have the least faith and confidence in their own ideals.
