I used to work in NYC, and yes, unfortunately a lot of the people I worked with acted this way in real life. They ate every meal "out" or ordered in. No one had food in their kitchens, nor even knew how to turn on their stoves, took taxis everywhere, etc. I am not saying everyone in NYC is like this, not by far, but there is an overwhelming amount of people (especially the younger crowd), that are living their daily lives like this more and more. I was always made to feel weird because I walked the 20 blocks to and from work and brought my lunch and breakfast from home everyday. It's nice to know I wasn't the only one out there....

Sorry to venture into the anatomy part of this topic, but I still don't understand how if you are of ovulating age as this woman obviously was, how do you not notice your period has disappeared for 9 months? I understand that in some people you still have spotting each month when you are pregnant but no where near what you would have sans pregnancy. I get missing a month or two, but not 9!

I actually went to college with a girl who has a similar Alice in wonderland themed tattoo across her entire back from top to bottom. I actually though the picture was her so I went to facebook to check her profile, but it isn't hers is different, but pretty much the same concept.

I'm a 3rd mate on an oil tanker in real life, while the game is fun, I figured the controls would be similar to what there is on ships in real life, like the flight simulator. Unfortunately the controls for a 1500 foot cruise ship in the game are approximately what you would find on a 10 foot powerboat. Also the reaction times for the engines aren't factored in at all, unlike a powerboat when you move the throttle, there is an instantaneous reaction, on a ship it can take a minute or more for the engine to react and then even more time for the vessel to actualy respond to engine.

I know I am ruining all your fun! sorry...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I can't thank you enough for writing this article. I have the most loving pitty mix ever at home, who I completely trust with my friend's children and take to the dog park everyday. I get upset on a daily basis by people's attitudes towards him. It is shameful and embarrassing when you show up at a dog park and half the people pick up and leave when they see you coming because of what type of dog I have, not because they know anything about that particular dog. Oh well, he still has a great time playing with whomever is smart enough to stay behind.

I am so happy to see someone has done their research and has displayed so well that pitties can be some of the greatest dogs out there. I have had multiple breeds of dogs over the years, but this was my first pitty and I can assure you I will never get anything but a pitty again, he is my best friend and the greatest dog I have ever had.
