I have this problem quite a lot, but I do I know that I am very much a visual thinker. My auditory memory is quite weak, and I have extreme difficulty remembering verbal information as opposed to it being read.

Yes, it is about attracting attention. Things are put up where they are not supposed to be in order to draw attention. If something is supposed to be there it gets a glance and an "Oh, isn't that nice." instead of a "Huh, WTF, LOL!"
Hmm, I heard that the guy serving it accidently spilled it on her due to the lid not properly being put on. I've found this to be one of the biggest broken telephone examples ever given, each one is different is some way catered to helping the person make a point. Anyone have proof of the exact details of this incident and multiple sources to back it up? Unfortunately my work's computer networking is blocking a lot of the links as "entertainment"... sigh.
I'm waiting to hear the next story about this guy when he beats a crab with a bamboo pole after it pinchs him on the toe, just to find the face of Jesus printed on the shell.
In Canada there is alot of this "green roof" campaigning happening too, getting things like tax breaks and compensation for converting the tops of buildings. I'm sure it will be a requirement of new buildings to have this feature which are of a specific size.
