@ted

Well, you could look at the piece symbolically, as where they stand and coexist with the other blocks represents the whole idea of the nativity scene, without the need for highly detailed models which only enforce the materialism that Christianity speaks out against. I could be reading too deep into this, but ya. And Ted, aren't we all children of God? :P

My friend owned a rat along with her cat, and had a network of clear plastic tubes that went through the house. The rat would walk back and forth as the cat pounced on the tube, then when the cat gave up to lay down on the floor, the rat would scurry out to get to the other opening of tubes across the room. I'm sure that setup was great exercise for both of them.

Forget what the statistics say, all they are good at most of the time is recognizing coincidental data. If people can't own up to their own damn relationship, they probably shouldn't have gotten into one in the first place. People have always sucked at communicating one's own feelings, have honesty issues, or are just too damn lazy to fix problems that happen long after they have been ignored when they first popped up. But then again, I'm not in a relationship, and hell if I ever plan on being in one.

Yeah, these anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists that are making sure their kids don't get shots are doing society a disservice with unnecessary risk of outbreaks, at the expense of their self-assured ignorance. That whole Jim Carry & Jenny McCarthy thing ticks me off.

How do they know that these marriages were "happy" ones, and not just more lasting for monetary reasons? Chances are a woman who is older getting into a relationship is more educated and have different priorities then a younger one without a career that’s less independant.
