There is an overabundance of short term thinking, also here in Canada. It's nothing to worry about, luckily those that think the least, do just as much to actually help fix the problem in the first place.

Portion doesn't have anything to do with price, it's about cost of effort, ingredients, and presentation of the dish. Also quality is always paramount, if something is wrong with the dish, it's always remade and replaced, because reputation is everything.
Actually the firefighter has to request they move their vehicle first, and if they ignore that request, they are fined on the spot. I like the method CME's dad used more though.
