even though I might disagree with the specific things she teaches about how a date should go, I think the general approach is Fantastic!! Put kids in these adult situations, and spend time teaching them different roles. So good.
omg, this website is amazing! alright, joke above is still funny, but seriously this is an amazing thing. can't be long before they start charging. someone should help them figure out how to get donations.
this might be asking too much, but I'd like to see a 2nd generation 3D printer: a 3D printer grandchild, if you will. If the grandchild is a copy of the child, then that's big news!
I never knew the War of 1812 was "The Forgotten War", but I knew about the War of 1812.... same thing about the Korean War. My guess is that the people who campaign for it to be acknowledged with public events succeeded, and that's why I know?
Miss Cellania, very interesting. Just to help me understand I'd ask about your comment: didn't the government pay back war bonds with money from regular taxes? They do involve the will of the people, but how do war bonds not-involve taking money out of the budget? I wish the Washington Post would give us the Excel file for the chart - it would be interesting to plug in other factors. For example, $ spent on war vs US tax revenue per year. ie "A 50 year old has experienced the US spending 20% of it's tax revenues on war". I wonder if the chart would be similar? maybe inverse?
You inspired me to look into it, maybe just so I could respond to the comment, lol. I don't know much about internet communication, but I can run online tests to see that I have a DNS leak; my ISP has a transparent DNS proxy watching my every move. And that allows them to.... idk block all data when I send a request they don't like? Of course, after I connect to my VPN I can flush my settings, but I think the ISP catches on and resets my IP. I suppose a really good VPN would send fake traffic data to the transparent DNS proxy instead of shutting it out entirely!
It's probably just China blocking the link (I'm in China), but if not then it's funny that this link is broken: The requested URL /article/206561/librarians-versus-nsa was not found on this server.
China has gotten really good at blocking stuff even though I have a 2-layer encrypted VPN turned on. They see through it with no problem.
those Seven Up bars look great! When I was looking at the Cadbury bar, I was thinking "this should all be one solid bar, not a grid of separate pieces." Maybe because 7-Up owns the copyright, Cadbury wants to avoid being too similar.
