I just read "World War Z" and loved it! I'm currently reading "The Zombie Survival Guide" and enjoying that as well.
I see someone's recommended the comic series Walking Dead, I'd second that. More Zombie-related reading material:
The Undead and Philosophy - Chicken Soup for the Soulless, a collection of philosophical essays on the nature of being undead, focusing on zombies and vampires. Really interesting stuff.
The Ultimate Zombie, an anothology of zombie fiction.
And just for sheer overkill, I just found this:
