About 20 years ago this would have been true in my family. Now there's no one left who can cook it to perfection. I suspect my local grocery store deli will do more business this year. :^P
With all the Native Americans available during WWII, I'm surprised only Navajo was used. Someody let Jim know that the German army was riddled with Polish and Italian soldiers.
WWI was a terrible tragedy. As bad as WWII was it still didn't compare to the trauma inflicted to soldiers in the earlier war. I am amazed that humans still haven't found a way to settle differences without killing each other.
Why am I not suprised to see that this article has more comments than the others. As mentioned all these girls are young and all these stories are old. No you can't blame Walt for 19th century values.
I'm sure I was put in front of the TV on the first day of broadcast. Of course I never saw them in color until I was ten. I'd be a pile of mush today without their guidance.
