Guillotine seems pretty tame so far as suffering goes, even if your brain still works post chop it cant be for much longer than a second or two and might not feel any pain. Now if it doesnt sever your head and gets stuck half way through youre in for a world of hurt.
I think I read a story about Lethal Injection methods in the US being questioned now. Something about being consciously suffocating and not being able to scream out rather than just going to sleep then having your systems shut down. Id take guillotine over that.

Rosie was based on Rose Monroe and she was a riveter at Willow Run Aircraft in Michigan. I think she is considered the "real" Rosie.
Shirley Karp was the model that played Rosie pretty much from 1940 - '45. She passed away this year.
Karp however was not the model for the We Can Do It! poster. That was Geraldine Doyle, who was working in a Montana factory operating a press when she was 17. She was only there for a couple weeks. She lives in Lansing. I think the story is that she didnt even know We Can Do It! was modeled after her until the 80s sometime.

What I was asked "Why does blood repulse you?" not what is your theory about why you think blood is repulsive to most people but I assume I can apply all those reasons to you personally

-Im not seeing the rape/robbery connection. This guy has not harmed anyone. Maybe frightened some people but nothing that compares to rape.
"Just because he is old, does not make it right."
-Did anyone say it does?
"Oh, maybe I am over reacting. Ever been mugged?"
-You are overreacting. Yes, I have been mugged.
I think there are two things keeping him from being caught, at least during the moment. First of course being bank tellers being trained to just cooperate with robbers. Second, he looks pretty frail and his age shows so I think people would be reluctant to hurt an old man even if in self defense and even if he is brandishing a weapon.
