I feel compelled to point out in response to the comment quoted in the article, "Why can’t companies stay neutral on such things?" that companies are owned and run by people (and the government even says that companies ARE people), no company is neutral on all things political, and the fact that so many companies donate SO much money to further their special interest causes makes me ask in response: Why is this any different? I have the feeling for every one person that boycotts Oreo or Kraft as a whole for this, there will be 5 more that were pissed and forget quickly, and another 5 that will rush out and buy a box of Oreos just to show their support.

As a currently pregnant woman, having to deal with all the FUN that is the the 9 month gestation of a mini-me, this also helps answer the question "Why are pregnant women's immune systems too weak to stave off many simple infections, prolonging the length and severity of something as simple as a UTI or the common cold?" Makes sense. Still sucks.

Pardon me; I have to go blow my nose.

This is too mature and complex of a topic for a small child to understand. How about something more simple and speaking more directly to the understanding level of the audience. Let's teach both to learn acceptance of others as well as to be confident in one's self (many gay men say they knew since they were very young) by doing something more like: Child puppet says "I feel different sometimes. I'm not like everybody else." and a friend or parent tells them it's okay to be different. Different is good, it's what makes us all unique, and it's important to like others for their differences too.

Done and done.

First off, as a woman, I don't take it as offensive when someone makes a joke about women being bad drivers or gossipy. We need to learn to laugh at ourselves and not take things so seriously.

Second, there have been studies focusing on the differences between the male and female brain. While men are capable of multitasking, in general, women tend to have an easier time at it. Men also are simply not wired to listen to 2 things at once, while women can carry several verbal conversations at the same time. This is not sexism, this is science. Women tend to not be as good of drivers because of the low level of testosterone in the brain and bloodstream makes their visio-spacial understanding less precise than men.
