I wonder if Obama's message of unity and inclusiveness was meant to come with a side order of self-righteous gloating. Those of us who want to support him even if we didn't vote for him have a hard time doing so when drowning in a sea of uppity commentary. I have hope for his presidency simply because I believe he speaks a better language and delivers a better message than so many of his fervent supporters can muster.
