Doesn't that basically say 'Conservatives are happy becasue they don't think about inequality' ? I don't understand why liberals would disagree with that finding.
Although, now that I look at the wording, it doesn't kind of sound like it's trying to say liberals lack something that they shouldn't (which is, an ability to convince themselves to not care about inequality). I wonder, is it fair to say they *lack* the ability just because they don't *use* it?
I wonder if the puppies are responding with a submissive response (curling up and being docile) to what they percieve as a larger dominant staring and growling at them?
Surely we know the difference, but I wonder if the dogs just here a low rumbling and thing its a parental warning growl?
I got 75%, and have used / came into contact with *most* of these, but the icons I'm used to seeing look much different than these (well, some of them). So I had to make educated guesses on some of them. The three I got wrong I can't recall seeing the icons for. (Groove, Project, and Front Page). Well, I saw front page before, but not this version, and it was like 8 years ago or something :P
As some people have said or implied, I don't think this guy's experience was due so much to his religion as it was his personality. Most groups of people (and especially guys) is going to get irritated if you keep making a big deal about something - it just gets tiresome if that all the person goes on and on about. And his sueing certainly hints at the fact that he's one of those people.
Sure, there are vaild reasons to sue, but I suspect this guy brought on the abuse by being obnoxious about his athiesm. Being obnoxious certainly does encourage abuse.
I have to disagre with that point. I'm fully capeable of experiencing or concieving things that I have no words for.
In fact, all human have this potential. We did as babies. And look at Hellen Keller - before she learned language she certialy was able to think as much as any human (just not communicate her thoughts to others). And she stands as one example of any number of humans who didn't learn any language but can still think, concieve, experience, and understand.
Language can *shape* how people think, certianly, but it's not perfect barrier of understanding.
i noticed the glasses / slurpee swap too. the only thing I can think of (besides him moving and it being edited out) would be if the real customers took his glasses, put them in his pocked (you can see them in on shot there), and stuck a drink in his hand. Becasue his hand/arm are in the same position.
If that were me pretending to be frozen and people rearranged things on me, I'd have no choice then to let them do it or break character. And the kid talking about him did have a drink on him (not that that's so amazing in a taco bell).
