The style and story looks a lot similar to another webcomic: 'Gone With the Blastwave', donno which came first; Although that one updates something like once every 2 months.
This might actually be doable. I mean if you're in a rush you'll probably turn the key faster and harder then normal, and sensors can pick this up and disable the ignition circuit accordingly.
I'm curious, can carnivores actually digest plants? Does the melon actually contribute to the cat's metabolism or does it just pass through and gets excreted unchanged?
Since it's mathematical, the strategy depends on your opponent placing ships randomly. Battleship was always meant to be a game played with someone familiar so you can try to "guess" your opponent's placement based on what you know about them.
