LOL sounds like something my grandparents would do. When my daughter stole a toy from a store, we went back to the store with toy in hand and her piggy bank. She was forced to pay for the toy with her money she'd been saving and didnt get to play with the toy for a few days--she was 5 at the time. She is now 7 :P
I was talking to my dad about the same thing while watching Storm of the Century. They bleeped out the actors saying "ass" but allowed them to say "bastard"......if you're going to remove a supposedly bad word, then remove all of the bad words. As for the use of nigger (nigga for those who don't want to say it correctly), its all in how its used. Just like any word, how you use it can indicate a good or bad. Example: "Let's string us up some niggers!" (going to go and kill a bunch of black ppl); "That's my nigga right there; we's all tight and shit!" (that black guy over there is my best friend)
What I'm curious about is what they're going to replace 'injun' with.
I want to know what the street crews were thinking. I know they watch the news and I know the weatherppl said that snow was coming--so why didn't the crews salt/sand the streets Friday night?? I can't imagine they were so determined to get the last bit of Christmas shopping in that they ignored their duty to the city.
I did try the classic way, but two little kids started to giggle when I tried something different. So now they just want to watch me throw the blocks every where
