Such an adorable anipal... Just beautiful! Not sure how I feel about people having them as pets though... Is that's what going on here? (Or is it a rescue?)
This is just stupid... Give me a plain white wall any day! To me this looks like clutter – with no benefit of anything useful, like, I don't know... Actual books.
I have to question Massachussetts having an economy the size of Saudi Arabia's... Really? Saudi? With all that OIL??? I have a hard time believing that.
@Paavo: Well now I just had to research klave... :) Turns out an old Swedish coin (this one from 1662: http://ingemars.se/mynt/C059.jpg) had a shield that people thought resembled a 'klave', a collar type contraption for cows (http://nn.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fil:Kuklave.JPG). Hey, I never knew where that term came from (let alone the word for that collar thing), I never could have guessed!
I love how stealthy it is, haha! The little sidejumps to get in position... Brill. I do wonder what is going through the kangaroo's mind... It does seem intentionally comical, doesn't it? Maybe the kangaroo has some amused buddies watching from a distance. We need a wideangle shot! :P
That thing is way cool. It reminds me of the wooden stave churches in Norway; it seems like the techniques are quite similar. Like this one, from the 12th (!) century : http://www.ne.se/stavkyrka#http://www.ne.se/modals/view_picture.jsp?sectionId=1201253||facebox.
Of course, the cupolas on the Russian orthodox church are kickasss. Although, the Norwegian church does have dragons on it! :D (The viking era – and faith – had just (barely?) ended.)
Hehe.
