I could pass on the fried bubble gum and the fried coke. Everything else looked like a delicious deep-fried-heart-attack-waiting-to-happen. And here just two days has passed since we engaged in fisticuffs over the turkey skin.

This is bad science. They theorize that if they can't intentionally ensnare wildlife in the plastic rings, then it can't happen randomly? I've seen way too many photos of birds with the rings deeply embedded in their necks, injured and starving.
I will continue to cut the rings open, before placing them the trash.

I'll be 55 on Tuesday. Believe me, 28 is young.
OTOH, I sub with the senior's bowling league, who tell me when they ask my age, 'Enjoy it while you're young!' Age is partly a matter of perspective.

Young dogs love walks, and smelling poop, leaving a pile of their own and peeing on everything in the neighborhood (a little higher and wider than the last dog). They don't like the leash restraint.

Ben you're always running here and there
(here and there)
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
(anywhere)
If you ever look behind and don't like what you find
There's something you should know you've got a place to go
(you've got a place to go)

It's just a guess, but I'd say the photos were taken individually and the negatives somehow overlapped in the printing process, so that the chins and eyes line up. There's some 'wiggle room' in the deep shadows on the right side of each of their faces.

A hissy fit that has gained alot of media and public attention for the restaurant, the chef, and the critic. The old adage about there being no such thing as bad publicity?
Your points about the value of a critic's review and that of peer reviews are solid. We're drowning in information and gobsmacked with distractions. What source will give us the most valuable information for the least amount of time? Peer reviews are often well written and highly entertaining as well.
