Yes it played a central role in the development of humans. We had to EAT them to survive and develop. Hunting for fun is just disgusting.

It's just that he ignored the most basic of all principles in animal observing; only interfere as little as possible (eg the cameras are somehow unavoidable). But pulling off stunts with wild animals is something that belongs into the circus. And there it's called abuse in my opinion.

Actually I would be VERY careful with such accusations. If he happens not to be the thief you are in serious trouble. And it's right that you would be. You could destroy this guys life... Or even provoque a mob killing him. Then it's not only slander but a lot more serious.
