It is a beautiful design but I still prefer my french press. There is something magical about the ritual of boiling the water in a kettle on the stove, freshly grinding the beans myself then pouring the water over them and forcing myself to wait the prerequisite 5 minutes before plunging the filter. Sure it takes a bit longer and is more involved than using a machine and yes the grounds do slip in to the coffee occasionally but for me it's the total experience that makes it so good.

I'm just going to go ahead and state the obvious. It's an electric marshmallow roaster. You poke one marshmallow on each of the four wires and then connect the two leads to your power source. A few seconds later, toasted from the inside out all ready for s'mores.

I have watched this about five times now and it gets funnier every single time.

I recently did a road trip with a friend who thought the lyrics to Get Lucky by Daft Punk were "We're up on Mexican Nookie" rather than "We're up all night to get lucky". I can no longer listen to the song without hearing those words.

Whenever I see photos like these it makes me want to go find a cool old run down building to take neat pictures of, but then two thoughts always immediately follow. Cool old run down buildings are almost always surrounded by very tall chain link fences which I would probably get in trouble if I crossed. The other is that those cool old run down buildings are probably full of drug crazed fiends that would try to kill me and sell my body parts for meth. I think I will just enjoy these pictures instead of trying to take my own.

I usually buy a frozen/refrigerated pizza on nights when I do the grocery shopping because I never feel like cooking after a trip to the grocery store. When it come to frozen pizza I usually skip it and buy the grocery store brand pizza that is merely refrigerated in the deli department. It is about the same cost as frozen and I think it tastes slightly better. Often times I will buy a bell pepper or a few cherry tomatoes, olives, or some other pizza like ingredient for use in a different recipe later in the week and I will use just a bit of those ingredients to help spice up the store bought pizza.

If your family likes karaoke, there is a Kinect game available in the Xbox Live app store. It was free when I downloaded it a few months back. You get a few songs with it and then purchase other songs that you like.
