Moths are right up there with spiders, earwigs and centipedes on my "freak out if I see it" list.

Hate how moths always like to fly right at you at night. GRR!

Ok... In defense of some Americans (cause these days we tend to get bashed at the drop of a hat) I didn't find this one amusing and I am American.

I get the idea that "pot" can also mean weed (meh...dumb. *yawn*). But we use the word "pot" (kettle) in the states like most English speaking countries. So its still quite a stretch to find the humor. potluck, potpourri, potholder, potpie, etc.

Sheesh... people are pathetically quick to bash the US these days. Talk about taking any opportunity you can get. *eyeroll*

This little photograph could easily be mistaken for my town, or a couple towns near here (in Oregon). I guess a lot of America has those old 100 year old style buildings crammed together with the flat brick storefronts (and decorative moulding).

I just wish my town could do something to make our city a little more restored. The whole place looks so run down.

I've seen Smack ramen in the states. Its a pretty crappy low-end brand.

THE best ramen (IMO) is Nong Shim. Hot n spicy ramen is sooo good. Looks like smack is trying to imitate Nong-shims wrapper.

oooh lucky doggie. ^_^

Hmm now theres a thought... They have dogs trained to sniff out everything these days. I wonder if anything in a dinosaur fossil would have enough scent for a dog to track. Might be fun if you're an amature fossil hunter, a dog might spot something that the eye could miss.

Rats are awesome, I'm very pro-rat. The smaller domestic variety though, as I've never owned a pouched rat. They have so much personality and are so affectionate. Far more than any gerbil or hamster i've ever owned, more like a cat. My rat Pixel went everywhere with me sitting on my shoulder like a parrot (also had a cage though). When he needed to use the bathroom (or just wanted down) he'd poke his nose in my ear (It did take a little training for that, but not much) and I'd let him down in a grassy place for a pitstop. Domestic rats only live 2-5 years though...so sad. :(

At first glance, i was thinking "What is that? Some sort of fantastic newly discovered sea creature?" Then I read the caption. Kind of neat to think thats in our noses (if somewhat less colorful without the CTscan to pretty it up).

mmm probably an ad that plays on parents emotions the most. It was really sad, but not one that would make me cry. Probably because I can't relate very well.
