what?!! no mention of silini (lunacy)...a czech film by jan svankmajer, who gives story credits to edgar allen poe and the marquis de sade? this movie has it all...stop motion animated raw meat/body parts sequences, satanic rituals complete with rape scene, and an insane asylum run by the patients. there's no doubt that once you watch this movie you will have witnessed a true descent into madness.
well i find it interesting, dutchboy. i always liked perry farrell in all his weird glory. i wish i could afford to see JA with NIN...that sounds like a pretty f'n good concert.

I'm rather disappointed that the "Percentages Agreement" between Churchill and Stalin that split up Europe into "spheres of influence." Churchill purportedly scribbled the proposal on a napkin and passed it to Stalin. Although I guess it doesn't qualify as "brilliant idea." Still interesting, though.
