The app seems a little buggy. I entered my ZIP code for home and work, and it did identify the towns. It put pins on the map where I knew interesting things are, but the mouseover showed me things in Europe. I tried with the town names but then had to further qualify both with the state. By then, the highlight pins showed up in the same location but with the correct mouseover.

Looks legit to me.
