I kinda think this story should be titled "18 Things you MAY NOT know about Firefly" because any respectable Browncoat was unsurprised by most of these. I didn't know the actual body count. That's a good nerdstat for my intersect.

The friend he drew this for is Carmine Infantino, an artist for DC comics since the 40s. Probably most notable for drawing the Flash in the Golden and Silver ages of comics.

I remember 1984. I can still hear the squealing of my 1200 baud modem connecting me to the BBS across town because there was NO INTERNET! Now that I think about it, I might just have tinnitus.

My name is Marc and I use Macintosh. And I love a good portmanteau!

I used to use 'Crillee,' which combined my love of typography, computers, sci-fi, and television. (Crillee is the name of the font used for the credits of 'Star Trek: The Next Generation') I stopped using it cause guys kept hitting on me in chat rooms.

My question is we're they trying to beef up the crowd or were they trying to cover up some sort of obstacle/hazard to make them look like better planners? All the people who aren't duplicated are around the edges of the space.

(to be read in the voice of Gene from "Bob's Burgers")

Great article! I loved the Tiki room when I first went to WDW. I just wanted to point out one small error (that a lot of people make.) "Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang" was not a Disney classic, it was released by MGM (although the Sherman Brothers did right the songs.) In fact, while promoting the film Dick Van Dyke claimed "We've out-Disneyed Disney!" He never appeared in another Disney film after that.

Let's not lose sight of the big picture here, folks. Haynes is publishing an Enterprise Manual! Not just the blueprints, a whole repair manual! Now we can actually build one! Woo hoo!
