This is nature; it's amazing and horrifying. The filmmaking here is superb. Although I happened to see this first via Twitter, I'd certainly classify this as "neat" for the camera shots alone. Fascinating.
I missed it the first time I read the article, but there's a video just before the black pasta picture. Who needs a pasta machine with skills like that?
It's a decent show, and if people thoroughly enjoyed it then more power to them. I do think that--like Star Wars: TFA and even 8-bit Cinema--it's riding on a wave of 'member berry nostalgia.
