To counter her videos, you could always give up your laptop, PC, TV, cable, smart phone, gaming console, Internet, trendy tennis shoes, delivered food, microwave and electricity and send the money to Africa instead.
I vaguely recollect asking my mom about it; probably after seeing it in a Looney Tunes cartoon in the '70s. Maybe it was Haredevil Hare, which has Bugs thinking he's the first living being on the Moon--only to walk right past graphitti of the phrase.
You're welcome, though I wasn't trying to correct you or anything. :) I was curious how he did it, so was naturally surprised when he briefly mentioned "DDP".
Trivia: The original, iconic scarf wasn't intentionally designed, but rather "a happy accident". I could see a memo like this made for creation of later scarves.
Coincidentally, one of our two shelter cats makes Tribble-like sounds too (we're both ST fans). But as cute and loving as our cat can be, he also urinates on the bed (mostly my side), the guest bed, in the bath tub and for a long time: One area of the basement carpet.
He's fixed and we've taken him to the vet for this specifically. SSSCat fixed the bathub problem. The last time on the bed was just a few days ago, with a litter box five feet away. He's probably just very skittish and needs to intermingle his scents with ours, but I'm sure you can now imagine one scenario that could lead to people taking a cat back. Good thing for him he's incredibly loving--especially to my wife. ;-)
Ugh, I hate our copyright and trademark laws -- at least, as they pertain to years before going into public domain. I think it's up to seventy years after the author's death now? WTH is that about? Had those rules been in place in 1949, the estate would only now be worried about the original copyright expiring soon.
We all benefit from stories put into the public domain, and copyright ownership certainly doesn't preclude awful movies or sequels.
Wow. I'm not sure to be more shocked that I've never scene any of those clips, or that I've now watched a video with the "Ten Scenes You've Never Seen" title was actually true for me.

For those who don't find his story inspirational, perhaps the video previously mentioned on Neatorama will do the trick.
