Just look up "Cat panting" on youtube, you'll see plenty of normal, healthy cats panting. They pant before labor, when they are hot, and when they are nervous in the car on the way to the vet.

They pant when they are hot. Big cats do it too, on the Sahara...they can't sweat. So they pant. Cat is probably hot from running. My cats pant when they get hot too.

I work in Television. It doesn't mention "Entertainment"... ???
