There's a lot to be said for rote memorization. It's one of the most effective ways for me to learn, I've come to understand that. What I memorized I still know, for the most part.
These posts about models from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings always catch my eye. But none of them have ever come close to being as detailed and downright cool as this one! I so want to have that house! I mean- I want to live in Bag End now!

Honestly- that was downright scary. Wikipedia says it's a twin-engined 44-seat transport aircraft. I can't imagine anyone being cleared for takeoff with the runway in that condition. Sort of wish we knew the story here...
I totally agree with you. I also like it that the two worked together. The other guy, Joe, was helping Felix. He obviously doesn't begrudge him the new record!
