Old soldiers tell stories about how fast they could wrap their feet and be ready for inspection. I had no idea Russia hadn't switched to all socks yet.

When my doctor said No More Sugar, I thought I'd never love coffee again. It took awhile but I now love it just as much as before. Someone brought me a cup recently with sugar in it and I was surprised how unpleasant it now seems when I used to love it with heaps of sugar.
That said- it is hard to get the perfect cup of coffee every time! I should go try... ;)

What most of the rest said. I'm sick just thinking of eating Starbucks food all day every day. Yes, I've had some of it- not just the snacky stuff. shudder (Nice example of rational thinking and healthy living and all that she is for her kids...)

I agree with you. I wouldn't include audio books on a list like this. For one thing, it's too easy to do many other things and not even hear the book. I only listen to audio books when I don't care if I don't get every bit. On the other hand, I guess if you're 'reading' a book a day, you're hardly taking it all in anyway. I still do not consider listening to an audio book 'reading'.

Interesting that the other passengers were the ones that subdued him. I imagine they had more legal freedom to do it than the flight crew??
I was on a bus once when a drunk passenger physically attacked the driver. The conductor and several other passengers subdued him. When he came back up the aisle for another go, a big beefy passenger got up and did something to his neck and the drunk dropped like a stone...and was quiet after that. At the first stop after that, the bus driver came back and bodily threw the drunk out the door. (This all happened in Eastern Europe where people don't tend to worry much about liability.) It made for a very interesting trip, for sure, if a bit nerve-wracking at times.

Very interesting! As a Hoosier, I find Northern IN very interesting- there's not much up there in the way of 'stuff'- like big cities- but quite a dark spot overall dot-wise. And it's not just the part up by Chicago but the whole northern part. We do have a LOT of Amish people up there... ;)

A good friend of mine came up with a similar recipe more than 20 years ago and we've been making our own super yummy Peppermint Patty stuffed chocolate cookies ever since! I guess it's truly a great combo! One secret is to NOT overbake them!
