The world still has far more very nice decent people in it than the creeps who did this. But I was in shock. One of my friends was near the finish line at the time and that added to the horror- not knowing where she was.

Finally getting around to looking at some stuff I'd saved from the past 2 weeks. And it's hard to believe that this was a week ago today. I spent the day glued to my laptop from across the ocean waiting to hear that they'd finally caught the sucker.

This is a pretty interesting bit of science. I wonder what all it could potentially be used for. And how soon would it need to be administered. Toxic mushrooms? Drugs? Alcohol? Snake bite? Botulism? I'm fascinated and looking forward to hearing more!
