The world still has far more very nice decent people in it than the creeps who did this. But I was in shock. One of my friends was near the finish line at the time and that added to the horror- not knowing where she was. Miss C's comment should get the 'comment of the week' award... if such a thing exists!
Finally getting around to looking at some stuff I'd saved from the past 2 weeks. And it's hard to believe that this was a week ago today. I spent the day glued to my laptop from across the ocean waiting to hear that they'd finally caught the sucker.
I need to remember to get back to my 'save for later' posts on feedly...which is still new in my life since Google Reader is being killed. Because if I did I could make my (less than) brilliant comments a bit sooner than 11 days later... This is a pretty interesting bit of science. I wonder what all it could potentially be used for. And how soon would it need to be administered. Toxic mushrooms? Drugs? Alcohol? Snake bite? Botulism? I'm fascinated and looking forward to hearing more!
All the more ironic since kids in Eastern Europe are taught in school that they won the war. The Red Army won it. Period. No mention made of any help they might have had. Pathetic.

Pathetic.
This looks good...in a 'just a tiny piece will do, please' way. My pancreas hurts just looking at the pic!
