Although, the Christmas theme is applicable. Since 2005, UK viewers have been treated to a Doctor Who Christmas special that involves various aliens almost destroying England on Christmas.

The "I'm not that talented or time-committed" method is to visit a restaurant supply store and buy some drinking glasses, coffee mugs, napkin dispenser, etc.

Although, it will be less a '50s diner motif than a '08 Denny's.

It's entertaining from a technical standpoint to see how well they spliced up the dialogue. It was fun discerning which episodes they took the Doctor Who clips from. And anything that exposes a Trekkie to Doctor Who is a good thing.

I can't wait until my kids are old enough for Doctor Who. I can't say that about ST:TOS.

The Office Depot guy has a 3-year-old smile. It's the gritting-teeth smile a toddler gives you because he doesn't know what his face looks like, but he knows he's supposed to display his teeth.

I wrap my head in dirty socks to mask the smell of my brains. It also helps to bathe in Gatorade so your whole body smells like death. Zombies won't touch you after that.

It looks like the spaghetti crust pizza we made last Father's Day, except more photogenic. Better Homes and Gardens Step-by-Step Kids' Cookbook, 1989 edition.

It has a lasagna-like flavor, but is not something you'd want to repeat. That cookbook also has instructions for a hobo picnic. Yumm.

I'm sure the blanket will be endearing when it gets old and an imperfection appears in someone's face and you donate the blanket to a thrift shop and then some dirty old man is pleasing himself on your face every day.

Seriously, customizing products in this manner ruins their reuse value. Do it only if you plan for it to stay in the family for 100 years.
