Did you see the Detroit Lives video? They say how sad it is that everyone only shows the abondoned buildings and decay in Detroit, and most of the footage they showed in their piece was...abandoned buildings and decay.

And yes, they're hipsters.

They did that here in Michigan along the Detroit River. They were called ribbon farms I think.

My German's rusty, but "The Unholy Book"? wow.

I was in Recreation building at college (University of Michigan - Dearborn) watching the launch on the TV in the lounge downstairs. I vividly remember the moments of disbelief the followed the explosion. Even though the cameras were still on it and we were seeing it as it happened, we still couldn't believe it.

What a douche.

Why should a celebrity be able to circumvent the rules? Because she has the ability to broadcast her side of it to millions of people?
It's very sad, and those kids must be heartbroken, but the fault lies with Ellen and not the rescue group. They have those rules for a reason. If Ellen had checked with the group first, letting them know that the dog wasn't working out and she had a family interested in the dog, they might have been able to work something out.
