It's like buying a Honda Accord vs. a Chevy Aveo. You're not just paying for a Honda logo, you're getting a better engineered machine that will last longer, and the same is true for Apple. Dell has had problems because its machines break down, and like Hondas, Apples have a higher resale value. If you have carpal tunnel, get a better chair and desk, and design on a desktop, or consider a tablet.
