the "i dont even own a tv" is an elitist thing, no matter the creed, race, wealth deographic, religion, etc.

It's said (in a bragging way) by people who want to sound somehow superior to 'the masses.'

K!P says: ".....the dusk utillity..."

I tried using that software, but it only made my screen gradually turn darker until I couldn't see anything. But everything was fine the next morning.

(I know it was a typo, but i had to. :P)

REALLY?! Physics Makes TV and ComPOOTERS?! Gooly GEE Mr! That sure is KEEN!

(Actually, It’s thanks to fundamental physics that you can exist, atoms can form molecules, gravity works, and all sorts of fun things. Not just TV).

Tiny black holes 'in space' don't have matter nearby to eat to grow big and strong (like their fathers!). But, whatever.

It would be cool if particle accelerators COULD turn you into he Sandman. Then again, 'Spiderman' would be a crappy comic if it were about a kid dying of radiation poisoning. ;)

I think you 'calm down!' people are overestimating the amount of 'nay say'.
I'm all for science for science sake. And I know that the probability of catastrophy is 'pretty much nil'.

And I know plenty about math and physics, people's assumtions aside.

Of course, I don't speak for the other posters here, but...

Black holes just creep me out.

(And Stephen Hawking has criticized his own work as wrong before, BTW)

I'm the fartherst thing from a luddite (I'd volunteer for a brain-port for computer IO. :P Also, genetic modifiaction is thrilling to me)
..But things like this make me nervous. What if the black hole or 'big bang' isn't containable. what if it feeds on the nearby matter to grow much stronger and more permanent than predicted.
*sigh*
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Pasting a photo-realistic texxture over a 3D model does not make it a 'real life' simulation.
I'm sure any CG artist reading that claim would cringe.
If they wanted to make a 'real life' Mario, you'd really have to work on rescaling the model.

However, there's a failsafe way to figure out what Mario would look like in real life. Since the character was based on Hironobu Sakaguchi's landlord (Mario Segali), all you'd have to do is find pictures of that guy when he was at the age Hironobu met him.

Cats are cool. Some do posts too? :) More games posts could be cool.

Please dont post "Top 10 whatevers" in their entirety. If I'm not interested in that post, its a pain to scroll through.

"Keep it fun, humorous and entertaining." Good comment. Please no posts about "wow look at china killing all these cats" or anything along those lines.

"Is this neat?" is a good question to ask about content before posting it on this site.

yeah, the irony of destorying the rainforest to put up a "GO USA" section in a ride about cultural awareness... well it's pretty amusing, in a bleak way.

I'm all for them 'repolishing' the ride, fixing stuff, shiny new animatronics, etc, but, man, some of that stuff is wacko.

...
And walt disney is not frozen. that's a big ol' lie.

"did you know that walt disney eats an average of 8 spiders per year in his frozen sleep, and for each spider he eats, bill gates will donate 1 dollar to a dying little girl?!"

@Sid
Is it bleeding power from their lines? I mean, does this actually cause more power to come out of their lines? or is it just utilizing an emenation that's already present?

@Christophe
I think the common term for that is 'Rural Legend' or 'Rural Myth'
