I like buildings that are like that. That is kind of going out of style.
I remember seeing an imae of an accordion shop. It was done in a similar fashion.

When I saw that image, my thoughts immediately went to a little bear orignally named Hotfoot Teddy. ;)
I believe that Sam would make an excellent spokeskoala for forest fires.

The only Krispy Kremes in New Mexico all closed in 2006. But that was because the franchisee went bankrupt.

My mother used to make us pancake animals and letters. She got the idea from the Betty Crocker's cookbook for boys and girls.

Back in the late 70's Sunset magazine had a special "projects for kids" book. And there were some great things much like the "indoor treehouse".
My mother had let us design our own rooms, and she used some of the ideas from that book to create my "solar system" room.

LOL - I have seen other songs done the same way.
I had once played Carmina Burana for some young children and their lyrics were just as fun as those posted there.

What G.Park said > "Completely agree. The Upcoming Queue has downgraded my Neatorama experience. Most of the posts that make it through are things that I’ve already read on other sites, rather than unique finds.
Either the filters need to improve, or the feature needs to die."
That day that yahoo users submitted lots of stuff, really killed the UQ for me.
"The quality of writing in most Queue posts is too poor!" - Jenny
I have had several "neat items" but do not feel that I am that great of a writer to post something to the Q. Which was why I have never posted something to the Q.
However, some of the items posted in the Q were neat, yet they failed to garner my attention due to their poor writing.

I remember some of these things from home economics class. (I am in my mid thirties) But I also grew up conserving and recyling things.
The "recipe" for getting rid of ants was a piece of drinking straw filled with peanut butter that was mixed with boric acid.

I believe a few of those images were taken at the National Atomic Museum at it's old location.
