Charles 8's Comments

Not sure what to make of these two guys but another one of their clips has been making the rounds in our office this week and is pretty funny:

I owned Bill Lambier's Combat Basketball in the days before Gamestop and trade-in's. Even as a little kid I knew within two minutes of firing the game up that I had been swindled.

On the other hand, Cool Spot for the SNES was a pretty bad-ass platformer; despite the fact that it is partially responsible for my soda gut.

I work on Broadway at Houston St, just a couple of blocks away and saw this building go up over the last year. I can confirm that those are prefab veneer panels that were hoisted up. They were about 8 by 8 feet roughly.

Nothing says, "Love" than a grenade launcher decimating a replica of a poor, middle-eastern family's home (at 38 secs). Once again Madison Ave, you top yourself. Hats off!

Mars Direct and it's champion Robert Zubrin have already encountered Nasa's absolute lack of vision on manned Mars missions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_Direct

Check out some of Dean's crazy-ass wheelchair work:

And yes the sound mix on Mr. Kamen is awful. "Luke arms" but no THX sound. Damn shame.

As a line rider junkie I can say...That's f-ing incredible and kudos for Michael Kamen's Robin Hood score- it makes me want to cut someone's heart with a spoon.

As a New Yorker I have eaten at Katz's many times. I don't think I've ever seen a carver at Katz's serve meat so slab-thick. And what kind of Gringo Goyim eats Jewish Deli on a white bread roll?! Don't let this jokers photos misrepresent a truly fantastic NYC deli.

I find myself welling up with tears while watching this- Such beauty, competence and dignity- the culmination of four million million years of evolution leading to the birth of this small, fragile being. This truly is a wonderful world.
