My knees usually slam hard enough into the handles (shifters) to prevent my genitals from slamming into the stem. I've been crashing for years: you don't need a cup for your bike, all you need is practise.
Has this been a constant occurrence for this kid? mean, first few offenses this would be overreacting, but if she's constantly writing on things and overall knowingly getting into trouble, then getting hauled to jail might just be what she needs. For my tax dollars, though, an overreaction such as a week of in-house suspension might have been a better option.
That being said, I know as much about the case as anyone else here, which is next to zilch. Besides, after going to public school jail might seem like a vacation. :-P
Water is -not- a finite resource. In some areas it can be scarce and needs to be conserved, but overall Earth is a closed system. Most of the Earth's water is not drinkable (saltwater), but through the miracle of evaporation only fresh water rains/snows down from the sky to refill lakes and rivers. Water is not going anywhere, nor is it being changed into anything else because of it's use.

I miss the old Simpsons, back when it was funny and relevant. What's being touted at The Simpsons now is tired and repetitive and makes me pine more for the days when it made me laugh.
