I also live in Stockton. I know the high foreclosure rate and high auto theft rate hurts our ranking but the city isn't that bad. We have a major university (univ of the pacific). We also have minor league hockey (which is very popular) that plays in an awesome venue. They are cleaning up downtown. This list is very bias. I think we should move up 10 spots just for the fact that I don't have to walk to my car after work in 10 feet of snow. Also, how about some points for proximity to major points of interest. Just over an hour to SF. Just over an hour to Skiing/Snowboarding.

Maybe I am misreading this but I think the last update to this book was in 2007. I think they may have stopped writing it. If so, I am a little mad at myself for reading the first chapter because I am totally interested now.

The coach shouldn't be fired. Who should be fired is the administration for letting this game happen in the first place. Dallas Academy is a school of 20 students. They have not won a game in 4 years. To allow them to play a large public school with a highly talented basketball team is a failure on the part of the administration.

I am really not sure how the winning team should have let up. Any alternative would have been MORE humiliating to the losing team in my opinion. Were the supposed to keep passing the ball around and let the other team chase it? Were they supposed to take pity and allow the other team some open shots?

As a former student-athlete, I would be so embarrassed that another team "let" me score.
