"Just eat this glowing mushroom and they'll all fade away" In any other context that line would conjure some very odd mental imagery.
I'm wondering what he made his mustache out of.

Seen the crab before, but the Weta was new to me. It halfway looks like one of the crickets from King Kong, which happened to be directed and produced by New Zelanders, hmmmmm....

Well now I have fodder to reason with a woman come marryin' time. I can first give her a history of why diamonds are incorrectly assosciated with mairrage and romance, then present her with a cheap second hand one that I purchased at incredible discount. She's sure to say yes to any proposal then. She can't argue with reason right?

I don't think I've ever seen craft eyes that big. Guess I don't frequent the craft store that much though.
I like the idea of getting into trouble and being able to blame it all on my obvious brain parasite.

Most every generation has said that the generation younger than them are worse. Too bad we don't have decades worth of surveys like this to compare against. We'll just have to keep taking older generations at their word.

I've seen the first video, but not the second. I still remember about seven years ago when a bit of the Aurora Borealis was visible from as far away as Utah. I wonder if astronauts ever get desensitized to seeing wonders like that multiple times a day.

Basically then, we have come up with three different words for "ether" and in all of our prowlings and proddings we still don't know exactly what it is or how it really works. Yay science!

No, they're all lit from the same angle. The light is coming from the left hand side and casting shadows on the right. The wing of the leftmost bird seems to also be casting a shadow on the head, but not the feet of the bird on the bottom of the photograph. That would make the light come from somewhere near top left, which would give a mid to late afternoon or early to mid morning time frame to the picture. That assumes the photo is oriented with the ground to the bottom. You can even see the light shining through the translucent parts of the leftmost bird's wing feathers.
