Thank god I live in Malaysia - lots of caves surrounded by lush, verdant forests full of food and springs with fresh drinking water (these future doomsday shelters are practically FREE to use!)

How ironic to think that this rare species would probably die off due to the oil, decompose . . . and turn (give or take a few million years) into crude petroleum, only to contribute to the source of the problem again in the (distant) future . . .

I will be the first to admit that the ethics in the Old Testament may seem too much for the modern world - but the rules really had sustained the Semitic populations in the Middle East during such a harsh time period 2000 years ago.

@Vonskippy: As for religion being the largest scam ever, I'm not exactly sure what you are pointing at. I am A Catholic because I believe in Jesus Christ's teachings, and consider myself extremely accepting to all races, sexualities and religions (and I am aware other Catholics may not approve of my stance). But simply lambasting religion for an outdated cultural sham is rather insulting to millions of people out there.

Anyways, we all know that Mr. Madoff's Ponzi scheme is quite possibly the largest known scam in the world

Dr Neil Barnard is ridiculous to assume that people aren't meant to use milk from a domesticated animal. Middle Eastern and Indian civilisations have survived famines through sustaining themselves from milk and through trading their prized milk cattle for other vitals. The dairy industry has helped many European communities to haul themselves out of poverty after World War 2.

Cheese has become such a part of many Western European societies that it would be unthinkable to remove such a vital ingredient from their cuisine. PETA's simplistic argument is leaving out the obvious historical importance milk has in civilisation past and present!

Being the Malaysian I am, I know what other people of East Asian or Indian descent see in another white European or North American individual as - a unique character who should be treated with greater reverence than their other peers.

Sad to say that in about 100 years time, current demographic trends will mean that "white" people will really become an exclusively rare commodity in many countries . . .
