I dont think he is too old to be a fighter pilot... in the sense of sitting in a fighter plane.. taking off, flying around and safely land it. However in the sense of surviving a dogfight against younger and fitter enemies, i would bet against him... Without doubt: "..he is to old vor Yentl" ;-)

Pulling the ring and throwing it away is not the best option, too. The fuse may not ignite or or only ignite after an extended period of time, just long enough to lure the user to look after the blind fraggie.I would suggest to aquire as much information as possible about the grenade. If possible identify the exact type. If the exact type has been identified, put it on a scale to determine if it is filled or not. Also try to determine the kind of explosive inside the grenade, to determine if there is a chance that it has become unstable over the time, if not, just screw the fuse off. In my country you just call the explosive ordonance disposal service, and they will take kare of such souveniers. I would strongly advise not to take it to the next police station :-) In my country just touching it would be a criminal act under the war weapons control act... So don't touch it..

I like the "fisch in the bag" - photo. Perfect lighting, perfect background (no suspended matters), perfect fish and perfect plastic bag with the perfect amount of translucency. The bag is just perfect, no handles, excactly the right size, no rips no damages no printings, no algae no ohter matter caught on or in the bag... Compared with the limited timeframe of a few minutes, between the fish getting caught in the bag, and the fish dying of oxigen deprivation, i would presume that this photo has been staged.

I just don't understand the problem. From time to time i enjoy pineapples on my pizza. However i never cared what other peope put on their pizza.... If you don't like it, don't eat it, and if you like it, eat it.... As we learned, pineapple pizza came to our world, and it has been here for so long, you can't expect it to ever go away again... So stay on your own plate and get alon with the fact tat there are different tastes and preferences in the world....

I love this cartoon.... even though "quatto formaggi" is my favourite choice, i enjoy some pineapple and brine-cured ham on a pizza from time to time.... Anchovis are also a very delicious choice.... i once was on vacation in italy and they offered sfilacci de caballo on a pizza and also pizza with french fries... As long as there are people wanting to eat pineappe or whatever on their pizza just let them... And if there wouldn't be a market for pineapple-pizza it would have perished a long time ago....

OK. Beethoven suffered severe deterioration in his hearing, eveh though did not lose it “to the very profound depths” that musicologists have assumed. However this would still correspond to a painter providing one of his masterpieces after becoming color-blind. Somehow i miss some information on the human hearing apparatus and the way how the deterioration could have changed the way he percieved the sound of muisc.
