I agree it was the product we didn't ask for that we really didn't need. Sure it felt like it was from the future but it's that 1950s view of the future where tech is just gadgets that let us keep living like it's the 50s.
It's interesting to think of how huge it is but then also of how small many of these video game worlds are. Designers use a lot of tricks to make places feel huge while also being small.
It's interesting but I suspect you'd get a different effect and perhaps it would be more engaging. I think maybe if he was spinning in the first video the juggling would look more impressive.
I think the second one is the weakest of the three but that's becasue it's hard to go forward and show the future and not have it age badly. I kinda wonder if we remade it but kept it in the 80s and they travelled to today if it would still be a good story. I think it would.
