But "all items scanning as mr potato head" (but working otherwise) is a little too much "exactly what a cheeky white(grey?) hat might do to draw your attention to how flawed your security is". Yes mistakes also happen, but are rather more likely to result in things all claiming to be some oil filter or car footwell mat. And it is in the vested interest of companies to never admit to hacks unless they have to (customer facing data). Could be an error, but smells like a fish (hackerfish?)

Cats make a similar noise when they are watching birds in trees. It is as if they think that noise will "woo" the birds into coming down to be eaten. "Hello, I too am a bird, hear my convincing bird calls, let's play."

My thoughts are that you lose any sympathy for even genuine (minor) slights against you when you call the police on someone daily and trespass on their farm. That's more than a slight-increase-in-the-cost-of-5-goats worth of inconvenience. And illegal.

"goes beyond hydrogen peroxide" ... which you should also never put on wounds. Actual science shows the majority of the evidence supporting honey as a wound dressing is from poorly designed studies and perception bias. Evidence does suggest it is useful in some circumstances but it is no "golden" bullet as it is sold. One interesting note also is that of course it works as an antibiotic.. beekeepers in the majority of the world lace their hives with actual antibiotics to prevent diseases from destroying the hive. This is generally not considered when doing poor quality assessments of its efficacy.

Ahh the Northern Hemisphere. The "also ran" of extreme cold temperatures. Coldest ever beaten by 20 whole degrees C! (−89.2 °C (−128.6 °F; 184.0 K) at the Soviet Vostok Station in Antarctica on 21 July 1983). Although they all sound wayyy too cold for me it seems a bit dishonest to just tot in "northern hemisphere record" without acknowleding quite how much Antarctica beat it by. To be fair, Antarctica's hottest ever was a "mere" 18.3 degrees Celsius (64.94 degrees Fahrenheit). Which interestingly is about 20 degrees C from the hottest in the artic circle.. with about the same difference in minimum too!

That headrest one is kind of cool.. but is it really the best solution for the "I am holding a device with metal bits poking out and need to break a window" problem? Just poking the window with the metal bits will break the window just as well and safely and the glass will end up more outside the car. And the car door will be reusable afterwards.

I often think to myself "I wish there was a shelving solution that used vastly more wood than other methods, was impractical at actually storing things on and was asthetically fairly unappealing". All that work for one small patch of short book storage. Kind of the "I don't really read but having books looks good" solution. Like having colour matched books. Which they also do in this photo.

How ironic... [shares picture of herself as advice on preventing people sharing pictures of you then watches it spread about the internet]. Sure hope she was ok with that... :)
