You appear to have gotten completely the wrong facts there. He said no he had not taken it, and when the reporter - who yes happened to be black - pressed further, he replied that it's inappropriate to press, it's similar to asking someone (without cause) if they had taken a test to see if they were on cocaine - and equivalent to calling them a junkie.

There's something extra dark about someone spruiking nonfunctional health crap in a pandemic.
