Who the hell thinks that L. Ron Hubbard's "Battlefield Earth" belongs on this list? I enjoy reading lists like this to see what others think. They also give me ideas of what books should be preserved in case civilization collapses - which could happen.

Those picture Captchas can be a royal pain in the @$$! I have gone through a dozen or more "Click on the traffic lights" or "Click on the bridges" before I could send a message. I have REALLY come to hate those things with a passion! Sometimes I just wanted to scream at my computer "I AM A %@&%* HUMAN BEING, SO LET ME THE &*<@#! THROUGH!!!"

For once I am not looking forward to a Star Wars movie. "The Force Awakens" didn't do much for me; "The Last Jedi" was, IMHO, crap. I might not even watch "The Rise of Skywalker" when I can borrow a DVD from the library - which is how I watched Episodes VII & VIII.

Pretty damn scary. As if we haven't done enough damage to our planet. This makes the current crisis in Kashmir that much more unnerving.
