Snappy P. Fish's Comments

Does the text to this post imply that the covers shown on the linked page are the new DC covers? They are covers to DC titles as imagined by a group of DC-unrelated artists. (Which is cool in itself.)

Anyway, the covers that DC have been posting are here:

Additionally, why is Neatorama trying to influence the unconscious word-choice of its commenters? I don't think that I would have normally used the term "snake-oil" in my above comment. I mean, when was the last time that I've said "snake-oil?" I can't remember. But I see that the subject of a recent post on Neatorama _was_ snake-oil. Coincidence? I think not.

I echo the sentiments of several other posters when I say I am surprised that Neatorama would publicize such a purposely deceptive article. This site uses such articles to prey on innocent people by advertising and selling snake-oil products camouflaged with scientific-sounding copy. Sad.

Wha' Pop? I think the Cookie Crook should have been Judas. Or maybe the deceitful and super-addicted Trix Rabbit. (Of course, lots of cereal spokesthings seem to need rehab of some sort, heh.)

I entered "http://www.neatorama.com/" and some variations into the search field, and searching confirmed the site is online, but not in the infographic. If a particular search term works, can someone please post it here?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Wow, I love Keyboard Cat, and Ron got the paws right, but he got the most important part all wrong, IMHO. The real charm of Keyboard Kitty is how copacetic his expressions are, and how his chillin' kitty head movements and eyes contrast with (and despite of) the hectic motion of his manipulated arms.

From what I've read about drug-running submarines before, most can only run just under the surface of the water, and cannot dive. Even more common are sub/boats that cannot dive at all, and have a significant portion of their bodies above the water line (but only a foot or leass above the water). Still, very impressive and scary at the same time.

They are part of the arms race between the Coast Guard and the drug runners. The fast boat strategy is becoming less profitable for the drug runners, as the Coast Guard has gotten better at catching them.

I imagine that eating strawberries with these insects on them is harmless, if they are as common as indicated in the video, and since people have obviously been consuming these things willy-nilly without any ill effects for some time.

I believe it is not kosher to eat insects. The video was made for jewish people who make very sure their diet is kosher.

Ya, this is from the film "The Gods Must be Crazy", or it's sequel. If not quite "educational", it's still a wonderful flick. Did you know that rhinos always stamp out campfires at night? Also, there is a kind of thorn tree that does a great job of undressing attractive ladies. Nature is amazing!
